HEPC India Recognizes ‘Cotton Concepts’ for Outstanding Export Performance in the year 2013-14
June 15, 2015. Handloom and Export Promotion Council (HEPC) India presented Cotton Concepts (CC) with the 'Silver Trophy' for Outstanding Export Performance of Handloom Made-ups in the year 2013-2014. The award was handed over to Mr. G. Vanjinath, Managing Director of Cotton Concepts by Mr. Santhosh Kumar Gangwar, Honorable Minister of State for Textile, Government of India. The award culminates a memorable year for the firm in terms of export performance and client acquisition.
HEPC recognizes exporters and handloom firms across India every year for their performance and contribution to the textile export industry. The 27th Export Awards function to recognize excellence across eight categories for the years 2012-13 and 2013-14 was held on December 05, 2014 at New Delhi. The function was graced by Mr. Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Hon’ble Minister of State for Textiles, Govt. of India and Mr. Gagan Rai, Chairman, HEPC, Mr. R. Rajendra, Vice Chairman,
HEPC and other dignitaries and awardees.
With stiff competition from member companies across India, Cotton Concepts was a unanimous choice as a result of its prominent performance in the handloom made-ups sector during the year. This recognition elevates CC as one of the Three Best Exporters of Handloom Made-ups from India. Having served customers and buyers across North America, Europe and Australia, the award is a pertinent credit to the firm's quality performance and telling contribution to the textile export industry.
Awards were also handed to other member companies for export performance across seven other categories, including handloom products, handloom fabrics, handloom floor coverings, handloom products from North Eastern Region, young entrepreneur from handloom sector, and Woman Entrepreneur from the Handloom sector.
